My Journey Into Design

I fell in love with design in high school, in a way I never expected. I was a student athletic trainer for the Hutto High School volleyball and basketball teams (Go Hippos!) and had an opportunity to create a team poster. I had never done anything like it before, but I was inspired by the University of Texas Longhorn graphics and wanted to see what I could create.

The moment I saw the final printed poster, something clicked. I realized how visual storytelling can bring an idea to life—how design can create emotion, excitement, and impact. From that moment forward, I knew design wasn’t just something I enjoyed; it was something I was meant to do.

Why I Chose Destination & Tourism Branding

As I grew in my career, I became a destination marketer, and I quickly saw a major gap in the industry.

The Problem I Noticed:
